You may know you people, sports or not, who
tested the new diet based on chrononutrition?
Chrononutrition fluctuations and insulin
Chrononutrition means taking account of the
hours of the day to the composition of meals and more precisely the fluctuation
of a key hormone in the process of setting aside food: insulin. In short, avoid
to match a carbohydrate intake during periods of maximal insulin
responsiveness. An approach that breaks with the conventional dietary theories
that revolve rather rationing fatty foods.
Chrononutrition: the art of eating everything
... but at the right time of day
Chrononutrition prohibits any food but recommends
consuming at specific times of the day. It should, for example consume as
little carbs later in the day as possible. We then finish the meal with a piece
of cheese instead of a sweet dessert. Some boards will also apply to breakfast.
Dr. Delabos recommended to make the most important meal of the day, and
incorporate foods rich in protein and fat, but low in sugars. Farewell cereals,
biscuits and bread with jam. Note, however, that at the end of the afternoon,
the scheme also allows the consumption of fruit or a piece of chocolate, some
cake or sweet risen slightly depressed glucose levels after a poor day
carbohydrates. Exit guilt greedy! They will not be punished by a weight gain to
the extent that sugar intake follows a long period of oxidation of fats.
According to his many followers, this chrononutrition give quite good results:
the best in all cases as a restriction of calorie intake in all directions.
Flat to the attention of sports
But be careful if your profession requires
great energy expenditure or if you have a regular sports activity. Rationing in
carbohydrates so may be too severe and cause strokes pumps during the day. To
avoid this, it is sufficient to increase carbohydrate intake after exercise -
bar or energy drink - to benefit from a period called "metabolic
window" by which sugar enters the muscle without the need for a major
release hormones. We quickly rebuilt its reserves. Without the risk of
triggering a new fat storage.
