In terms of weight loss, difficult to choose among the many possible plans. So a recent study done sorting slimming programs and reveals that the Weight Watchers diet is 5 times more effective than the others!
Despite the best intentions, it is often difficult to maintain a system in the long run independently.
Study investigates the matter and tells you how to lose weight more easily. This study on the Weight Watchers says it is five times more effective than any other weight loss program.
More effective than other Weight Watchers diet 5 times?
During this experiment, two groups of people were compared for 6 months:
- People following the Weight Watchers plan in letter
- People leading a scheme independently
It turns out that the first group of people showed a significantly greater weight loss than those who have tried dieting alone.
During the first three months, members of the Weight Watchers group lost an average of nearly 5 times more weight than the second group!
Following six months of experience, the difference between the two groups was still larger. People following the Weight Watchers method showed a weight loss of 7 times larger than the second unframed group, who themselves have observed weight regain after diet.
"On the one group to another, the difference observed between the curves of weight loss is absolutely irrefutable. Where members of the Weight Watchers group saw their weight down significantly over a period of six months, subjects dieting solo began to regain the pounds. Over the long haul, you can really call into question the effectiveness of schemes undertaken independently, "analyzes Dr. Craig A. Johnston, Director of Research for the study.
Why such a difference in results?
This study demonstrates the importance of regular supervision and monitoring during a diet.
Participation in Weight Watchers meetings may explain the better results of weight loss for the first group.
"These results demonstrate the effectiveness of the Weight Watchers program. We believe that our meetings are a major element in the dynamics of support groups where everyone is motivated and supported by others and learn to change their lifestyle, "says Zoe Hellman, Director of Public Health division of Weight Watchers .
What do you think? Have you ever tried the Weight Watchers diet?
